These have been hanging around my studio and I nearly painted over them but decided to redo the background instead. I haven't eaten any cantaloupe yet, but I bet they're starting to get pretty good.

Angelo, look what you've done! This is the first in the BIG paintings series and it's a work in progress. I thought I'd take a photo of it in my studio to create a sense of proportion.
I've worked on the background of this more but left my camera in my friend's car so didn't get the latest shot. It's very similar, just less swirly bits in the background.
In my drawing class at the Atelier we progress from two minute gesture drawings to ten minute sketches to warm up in the morning. I liked the way this drawing turned out.
